Quincy Angelo Conner
Quincy Angelo Conner was born October 27, 1977 at Homestead Air Force Base, to the union of Andrea A. Ward and Garland Conner Sr. Due to his father’s military career, the first ten years of his life were spent traveling around to various parts of the world, to include, Korea, Japan, Germany, Italy and the Philippines.
He truly had no problems with diversity regardless of where he lived.
When Quincy was twelve years old, his family settled down in Lake Ridge, Virginia, where he attended Lake Ridge Middle School and advanced on to Woodbridge Senior High School. He graduated in the spring of 1996. While in school, he received numerous awards for his achievements in football, basketball, and track. His most renowned awards are holding the record for high jump in middle school track and being the first twelve year old to drive a car to school!
He furthered his education at Muskingum College in New Concord, Ohio, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with a minor in Accounting and became a brother of the Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity. Before graduation, Quincy and his girlfriend Sarah became the proud parents of their beautiful daughter, Trinity, and remained in Ohio after graduation to raise her together.
In Ohio, Quincy gained employment with Enterprise Rental Car where he became a branch Manager. He proposed to Sarah, and they tied the knot on August 7, 2005 in Fairfax, Virginia. Sadly, the world lost a beautiful soul when Quincy passed away suddenly just a few months later on December 21, 2005.
This Foundation and our mission are dedicated in his honor.
He is a role model for fatherhood, friendship, marriage, brotherhood, and leadership, and he will remain forever in our hearts.
Q, we hope we do you proud.
